Packing & Container Loading
We use strong wooden crates with reinforced straps or wooden bundles outside with fumigation. Sometimes, it will also use cartons inside for some products. After the products are packed well, professional workers will load them and fixed them carefully into the container, to avoid breakage during the transportation.
Hardness of Stone
Marble is relatively soft. In MOHS, the marble grade is about 3 (up to 10). Marble, like teeth, is made of calcium. If you bite something too hard, your teeth will break. If you eat too much sugar, your teeth will perforate. The same is true of stone. If the reagent used on the surface of stone is improper, the stone will begin to rot and form holes.
Below is the famous Mohr Hardness Meter (MOHS). This standard was formulated at the beginning of the nineteenth century. It helps to identify the strength and hardness of the stone used, so that appropriate measures can be taken in its application. For example, stone with lower hardness requires softer reagents and more frequent towing.
Mohs Hardness Scale
3. Calcite (most marbles)
6. Feldspar (granite)
7. Quartz (granite)
